Notts Set Up Leics Friendly
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club have arranged a two-day friendly match behind closed doors at Trent Bridge against Leicestershire on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th July as both sides prepare themselves ahead of the new much shortened red and white ball seasons.
It will be Notts first outing at Trent Bridge this year and will be the second friendly match set up against County Championship opposition as they are to face Warwickshire at Edgbaston next Saturday (24th) and Sunday (25th) in another two day game behind closed doors.
Both matches are scheduled to start at 11am on each of the four days with regular updates available on the Trent bridge website with the club hoping to provide enhanced streaming for the opening first class fixture of the season which will start on August 1st.
As of yet the ECB are still to determine the revised fixtures for the 2020 campaign but it is certain to feature both four-day and T20 formats with the schedule released very soon. Meanwhile concentration draws towards Steven Mullaney getting his side prepared and any rustiness dusted off prior to the start of competition.
