NSL Preview: Bingham Back In League Action
After their stunning victory in the Notts FA Senior Cup last weekend, Bingham Town return to action in the Premier Division of the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company by welcoming last season’s Division One winners, Woodthorpe Park Rangers, to Butt Field.
Southwell City also won in the cup in midweek, they turn their attention back to the league with the visit of Keyworth United to the Memorial Ground. That win was against Burton Joyce, who are currently unbeaten in the Premier Division, they will look to continue that record as they host Awsworth Villa at the Poplars.
AFC Dunkirk entertain Magdala Amateurs at the Ron Steel Sports Ground while seventh visit eighth as Calverton Miners Welfare head to Hickings Lane to play Stapleford Town.
Sandiacre Town welcome Cotgrave to St Giles with Wollaton hosting bottom club Eastwood CFC Development at the WSA.
Bilborough Town entertain Aslockton & Orston at the Harvey Hadden Stadium and Attenborough and FC Cavaliers meet at the Forest Spots Zone.
Ravenshead will try for the second weekend to get their Notts FA Senior Trophy tie against Ruddington Village played at Cornwater.  The Reds will be without veterans Chris Bovey and Paul Smith. In another all-NSL match up in the same competition Robin Hood Colts host Beeston at Sherwood Fields.
In Division One, leaders AFC Top Valley head to Wharf Lane to face a Radcliffe Olympic side that are rapidly ascending the table. It’s second versus third as West Bridgford AFC travel to the CDW Arena to take on Radford Reserves.
In Division Two, United Grays will be looking to consolidate the top spot they claimed last week as they travel to Basil Russell Park to play Pythian.
Keyworth United Reserves and Ruddington Village Reserves have their own designs on first place. They host Burton Joyce Reserves at Platt Lane and Ravenshead Reds at Elms Park respectively.
