It was the last racecard of the fixture calendar today at Nottingham Racecourse as the flat season finale produced some magical moments in the cold over eight races at Colwick.

In the first race of the day Moonlight In Paris ridden by KT O’Neill and trained by John Gosden brought home the win to take over £3,800 in the Class 5 Download The MansionBet App Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.

It was double delight for Newmarket based Trainer Gosden who also took home the MansionBet Proud To Support British Racing Maiden Stakes 13:25 with his horse Mishriff the 5/6 favourite ridden by jockey David Egan in between a win for Hooroo and Jockey Clifford Lee (Trained by KR Burke) in the 12:50 MansionBet Beaten By A Head Nursery and the 13:55 win for French horse Salamanca School in the MansionBet Proud To Support British Racing Maiden Stakes ridden by Franny Norton and trained by Mark Johnston.

With the first four races over 1m75yards each paying £3,881 to the winner the 14:30 Gamble Responsibly With MansionBet Nursery Class 5 was slightly shorter over 1m2f with just four racing and won by an Irish horse Ami Li Bert ridden by Theodore Ladd and trained by Michael Appleby.

In the big race of the day the 3pm MansionBet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap it was Franny Norton on Colonel Frank trained by Mick Quinn winning the 5f8y class 4 and picking up the 1^st prize of £7,763 ahead of second placed Afandem.

Finally the last two races of the day saw wins for Lydiate Lady ridden by Jason Hart and trained by EJ Alston in the 15:35 MansionBet Offer Deposit Handicap and favourite Gamesters Icon in the 16:05 AJA Lady Riders Handicap who’s Jockey Miss A Stevens helped Trainer Oliver Greenall to a £3,743 winning race.
