County Championship Fixtures Announced For Notts

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will open their 2021 County Championship season at Trent Bridge on Thursday 8th April against Durham.

The four-day team have found out their full fixtures for the coming season today as Notts are paired with Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire and current champions Essex as well as Durham in group one with the winner of each and best runner up of the three group competition going into a top division of teams that will fight for the Bob Willis Trophy.

The group stages will be played between April and July with the divisional stages from August to September with the final played over 5 days between Sunday 27th September and Friday 1st October.

Following the visit of Durham, Notts will host Warwickshire before travelling to Worcestershire and Derbyshire then hosting Essex.

By the end of May Notts would have played both Worcestershire and Warwickshire again before closing their group stage season at Essex, then at home to Derbyshire before travelling up the A1 to Durham for a four day match starting Sunday 11th July.
